Job Description
PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.

Marketing's job is to deeply understand our customer's needs and wants, and to turn those insights into plans and actions that generate high margin demand and elevate our brand.

We act as an enabling function to help the client serving professionals accomplish their strategies and meet their targets.

We deliver this result through creative and innovation application of deep marketing expertise, data analytics, strong program management, media, and branding knowledge.

PwC's Integrated Content group creates a distinctive set of insights that can communicate well in both traditional publishing channels (such as magazine articles and white papers) as well as new media channels (such as Facebook and Snapchat) in a way that differentiates our partnership. Our content supports our brand positioning as well as our business marketing and sales efforts. These insights help current and prospective clients envision the future, understand and address business issues and opportunities, and creates demand for our services.

PwC's Financial Services Institute (FSI) provides new intelligence, perspective, and analysis on trends affecting all financial services sectors, including banking and capital markets, insurance, and asset management.

FSI collaborates with PwC's network of industry professionals to produce timely, thought-provoking, and informative publications on current issues impacting the financial services industry.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Strategic Communications, English, Business

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the Financial Services industry preferably for a global network of professional services firms emphasizing the following areas:

- Managing others to accomplish key objectives;

- Establishing PwC as a thought leader in the area of Financial Services industry through external media, speaking engagements, client events, social media, and interaction with industry and professional organizations;

- Leading meaningful conversations with clients and the professional

community about issues in the Financial Services and their relevance to solving business problems; and,

- Understanding of the most complex issues regarding Financial Services and the ability to apply innovative solutions and industry leading practices to publish thought leadership.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success writing thought leadership publications, specifically for Financial Services, emphasizing the following:

- Leading an online publication with strong media creation experience;

- Networking effectively with the industry and professional leaders; an innate ability to open doors and form new relationships;

- Leading independent research and conducting data analyses using several techniques all while balancing intuition with quantitative research;

- Leading a diverse team of experienced writers in multiple locations by providing oversight, direction, and editorial support;

- Developing strategy; as well as standards for writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or all levels of internal and external audiences;

- Collaborating with, advising, and providing insights to vertical and horizontal leadership teams to drive the firm's focus on the industry's issues;

- Collaborating with the marketing and creative team to develop and promote content in digital formats (i.e., interactive graphics, videos, and podcasts); and,

- Developing and executing the Institute's strategy with an emphasis on client and industry impact to be measured in brand, trust, exposure, enhancement, reader loyalty, and lead generation.
