Job Description

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The New Ventures Innovation team is focused on identifying, prioritizing, accelerating and incubating new ideas from across the firm and outside the organization that are aligned with our PwC purpose. The team facilitates ideation through various modalities, and prioritizes based on disciplined criteria for developing new products and services to initiate new businesses, use of advanced technologies to enhance existing offerings, and development of processes to improve both our client and people experience.

The Solution Designer is responsible for supporting the Facilitator in the appropriate scoping of Catalyst sessions to solve critical thinking and execution issues across the client enterprise. Once scoped, the Solution Designer works in partnership with the Facilitator to design, prepare for and deliver events and expected work products (outputs). In the days immediately before, during, and after an event, the Solution Designer manages the team who participates in the design, logistics, and production of the environment, inputs, activities, and outputs.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5 years in design roles with strong facilitation and workshop design skills.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree Preferred: MBA

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Managing, scoping, and delivery of Catalyst sessions, including methodologies and industry leading practices; and,

- Proven specialization in process analysis and design and a functional knowledge of tools including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success directing end-to end project management of Catalyst sessions, including the following areas:

- Utilize Adobe CS, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel;

- Work with multidisciplinary teams and adept at facilitating alignment across different perspectives;

- Scope engagements and design detailed agendas;

- Liaise with other vendors and partners to establish event logistics are in place;

- Facilitate sponsor design teams to create alignment for project approaches;

- Establish alignment of design and deliverables with the client contract/scope of work;

- Set, track, communicate and establish achievement of engagement metrics;

- Establish timely follow through with the engagement team;

- Scope, compile and edit specialized executive summary documentation; and,

- Contribute to ongoing creation and compilation of Design Methods work product.
