Job Description
The Financial Services industry is operating in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory demands and capital requirements, and significant operational and technology changes. Our growing Financial Services Advisory team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Financial Services Advisory practice is composed of three industry sectors: Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance.

Our Cybersecurity and Privacy Consultants are a team of business integrators with extensive consulting and industry experience who help our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy through execution. A Cybersecurity and Privacy consulting career may provide the opportunity to grow and contribute to our clients' business issues every day, applying a collection of security spectrum capabilities, including security strategy and governance, IT risk, security technologies, and cybercrime and breach response.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree Preferred: Computer Sciences or related field

Certification(s) Preferred: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of technical concepts such as application security, network segregation, access controls, IDS/IPS devices, cryptography, physical security, and information security risk management.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of security testing tools, such as Metasploit, Nessus, HP Web Inspect, or any tools included within the Kali Linux distribution.

Demonstrates knowledge in networking protocols, TCP/IP stack, systems architecture, and operating systems.

Demonstrates knowledge of common programming and scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or Bash.

Demonstrates knowledge of well-known Cybersecurity frameworks and industry-leading practices such as NIST, FFIEC, and OWASP.

Demonstrates a basic understanding of traditional security operations, event monitoring, and SIEM tools.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven background performing penetration testing activities within a consulting environment, emphasizing manual penetration testing techniques.

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with performing and supervising various work streams of client engagements that emphasize identifying and addressing client needs, including:
- Participating actively in client discussions and meetings;
Communicating a broad range of Firm services;
Managing engagements;
- Preparing concise and accurate documents, leveraging and utilizing MS Office and Google Docs to complete related project deliverables, as necessary; and,
Balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with leading business functions and teams, including:
- Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; and,
- Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
