Were a part of a unique client proposition, assisting our clients develop proper internal controls by leveraging analytics and technology solutions to underpin efficient execution of governance, to optimise their risk and compliance policies and processes, and improve business performance.Our team helps organisations rethink their approach to risk and compliance to drive strategy, capabilities and performance. As part of the team, youll work on developing integrated risk strategies and frameworks across all landscapes to help our clients navigate new and evolving laws, regulations, and complex industry specific compliance requirements.


As a Manager, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and teams technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

PwCs Strategic Policy Advisors team - a part of its Risk and Regulatory Advisory business - provides clients with comprehensive strategies to define and execute their government and regulatory affairs strategies. The strategic policy advisers team works across industries to leverage, PwCs breadth of capabilities to bring its clients the full scope of services needed to succeed in this environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

-Help clients understand and address their policy risk and regulatory profile. In todays rapidly changing regulatory policy environment, organizations need to engage earlier in the process to understand and manage the potential impact of emerging policies on their business;

-Interact effectively with policymakers in order to manage that impact as effectively - and efficiently - as possible.  

-Demonstrate proven specialist-level abilities and success advising clients on policy and regulatory issues, including:

- Assess impact of policy, legislation and regulations on clients; and,

- Develop and implement government relations strategies.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Degree Preferred: 
Master Degree

Preferred Fields of Study: 
Business Administration/Management, Business Studies, Economics, Law, Managerial Economics, Political Science, Politics, Public Administration, Public Policy Analysis

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in a regulatory or government affairs policy specialization including the following areas:

Understanding of the legislative and regulatory process (not exclusively US Federal) including the roles and decision-making process of key governmental and regulatory entities;   

-Engaging in the policy discussions with policy, legislative, and regulatory decision makers;       

- Working with key non-governmental stakeholders (e.g. industry associations, think tanks, NGOs);        

- Having a perspective on the government affairs function within large, multi-national corporations, and;

- Having in-depth policy expertise and experience in one or more of the following issue areas: global trade, privacy, emerging tech, energy, utilities, financial services, auto, industrials.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success advise clients on policy and regulatory issues and devise organizational transformational efforts, including the following areas:

- Assess business and economic implication of policy, legislation and regulations on clients;

- Develop and implementing government relations strategies;

- Lead complex projects with diverse teams on time and budget;

- Craft and deliver points of view through written and oral communication to build organizational influence, interpersonal relationships, professional business networks, and executive-level commitment;

- Lead diverse teams to achieve business goals including, mentoring and motivating others, contributing to an atmosphere of high performance, innovation, integrity and fun, and;

- Understand issues and solving problems in systematic, quantitative and qualitative manner.
