Job Description
PWC IT is responsible for the success of our central technology efforts in our federated business model.

Position/Program Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience as an IT Leader.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT or related area

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated understanding of the respective infrastructure. Thorough understanding of related functions applied in ways to support and integrate key business and strategic priorities. Demonstrated knowledge of all technology needs in various IT technical areas Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in IT Service Management best practices (ITIL), Operations Control Quality and Process Improvement systems (ISO 9000, SEI CMM, Six Sigma). Extensive knowledge of technical security operations and information security standards such as the ISO 27001 information security standard.

Skills Preferred:
Experience managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the functions of configuration management, problem management, change management, operational readiness, and security for global IT Operations. Experience working in a highly complex technical environment. Experience in all aspects of service establishment including both infrastructure and application development and deployments. Experience within a large and complex company/organisation which is a prime user of technology for promoting business advantage. Ability to influence others internally and externally through both direct and indirect reports, building, deploying and developing interim project teams relating to mobile computing within and across local and global functions. Ability to initiate and engage in ongoing significant dialogues with internal clients on mobile computing.

- Assists the Director in developing, implementing and executing PwC Global SAM policies, processes, and best practices, and ensure timely implementation/execution is delivered.

- Manages a team that ensures SAM system data integrity, identifies and resolves data anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Manages the deployment and entitlement rights of software licensed by PwC through GLSC and key member firms.
- Ensures timely support and tracking of the internal allocation of licenses and their costs is delivered by the team.
- Responsible for a team that respond to audit risks and software compliance obligations, and provide guidance on escalated highly complex matter.
- Drives opportunities and develop new initiatives for efficient use and improved procurement of software across the PwC Network.
- Plays an advisory role to the Director Global SAM, senior IT leaders, member firms, and other stakeholders of actionable opportunities identified through SAM analyses and guide strategic decision making amongst key governance groups through to implementation and benefits realization.
- Responsible for the alignment of member firm SAM resources, efforts and stakeholders and their ongoing engagement and adoption of GSAM services
- Provides foundational input and support the global SAM center of excellence consisting of people, programs, policies, processes, and tools that will optimise the value from PwCs IT assets and improve compliance.
- Assesses PwCs license position and usage to recommend appropriate PwC IT actions (including optimization, standardization and sunset efforts), and provides expert opinion on PwCs readiness to meet true-up/certification milestones.
- In conjunction with GLSC and Procurement, identify opportunities to consolidate IT purchases and rationalise supply base.
-Executes tasks to report on relevant software metrics and analyses.
- Accountable for resource and budget management within the GSAM team
- Supervises, coaches and mentors a team that is located across various locations and cultivates a team culture of ownership, execution, and continuous learning and improvement.
