Job Description
Exciting opportunities await you as a member of PwC's US IT team. Our team of technology professionals provides internal technology services and solutions that transform and achieve PwC's mission of becoming the leading technology-enabled professional services network. The Projects organization team collaborates with internal business leaders to develop and deliver technology solutions, utilizing internal and external IT capabilities.

The Infrastructure Projects function is responsible for managing the quality/acceptance of vendor SOW deliverables and vendor's SLAs for infrastructure activities. The Infrastructure Projects function is responsible for managing the pipeline of resource needs the service vendor provides.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates intimate knowledge of, and/or proven record of success in in roles managing technical quality/acceptance of vendor statement of work (SOW) deliverables and vendor's service level agreements (SLAs) for real estate and infrastructure activities, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas:
- Understanding of current and emerging technologies with a focus on networking infrastructure including WAN, LAN, UPS, CRAC units, wireless, Video Conferencing and VPN;
- Interpreting and communicating details of commercial office drawings and floor plans provided by architects, MEPs, and other vendors;
- Understanding and creating comprehensive IT infrastructure construction costs required to meet the customer's requirements;
- Understanding of the firm's technical systems; and,
- Understanding and experience with Project Management.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates intimate abilities, and/or proven record of success in defining infrastructure guidance to implement the national technology strategy, initiatives, and guidelines in the design and deployment of commercial building network infrastructures, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, emphasizing the following areas:
- Developing work approach and project plans to meet client requirements, manage and monitor progress the delivery per plan;
- Performing cost forecasting, planning budgeting, tracking, and reporting;
- Building appropriate relationships across lines of service to properly track costs and revenue;
- Interfacing with various levels or groups working cross functionally within the organization to guide strategic direction and gain buy-in from various stakeholders including customers, functional peer group managers, and cross-line of service leadership on complex issues;
- Assuming full delivery responsibility for the coordination, management and/or participation of the full lifecycle projects which typically impact the office(s) or cluster multiple offices, functions or groups;
- Adapting to a rapidly changing environment and leading others through change;
- Working within tight deadlines and firm schedules;
- Developing, analyzing and taking appropriate action on performance metrics;
- Utilizing problem solving and negotiation skills;
- Leveraging technology to decrease the cost of the service and time to implement;
- Developing and seeking input on policies, standards and procedures, and documentation of solutions and process improvements;
- Managing compliance with published standards (US IT Standards with national technology) strategy, initiatives/guidelines processes and procedures in developing and deploying secure solutions;
- Completing and resolving complex, non-routine operational tasks and issues;
- Demonstrating productivity, initiative, professionalism, customer service attitude, attention to detail and quality, ability to multitask, team focus, strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and adherence to firm and US IT standard operating procedures;
- Leveraging CAD, Microsoft Office Products, Visio and Microsoft Project Server and Google collaboration tools;
- Displaying a commitment to professional growth: seeking opportunities for development; and providing leadership in sharing knowledge with others; and,
- Utilizing management skills in service/support and systems, including auditing, internal control, and business redesign.
