Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.

Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.

The Cross Line of Service Management Reporting team is responsible for developing the Reporting strategy and producing and analyzing all reports related to Finance operations, Clients, Markets and Sectors, Line of Service (LoS) Finance and Leadership & Management reports.

This team is responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with LoS Finance Leadership, Firmwide Finance Leadership, US Financial Services Leadership, and the Budget & Analysis Team to assess and deliver on the needs of the organizations and is responsible for developing a sustainable governance structure and standardized reporting across all reporting segments and LoS.

The Line of Service (LoS) Finance Reporting team is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the LoS reporting strategy, including supporting delivery of the needs of all LOS Finance, Expense Reporting, Partner Metrics and Staff Analysis Dashboards. The team is responsible for fostering strong relationships with the LoS Finance leadership, US IT, Finance Leadership and across the Reporting organization.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 5

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated knowledge in developing and analyzing finance reporting requests including development of standardized reporting packages.
Demonstrated knowledge in the area of LOS and Firmwide Finance market reporting.
Demonstrated knowledge in teaming with other strategic groups on projects to provide solutions to challenges due to process and/or system changes, enhancements or leadership requests.

Skills Preferred:

Proven ability to develop and execute new techniques, policies and procedures, and define and manage strategic projects aimed at improving efficiencies
Proven ability to do the following:
-Establish metrics.

-Monitor departmental

efficiencies and effectiveness.
-Act as a resource for department processes.
-Identify the resource with the required ability.
Demonstrated experience addressing the needs of the client, the Firm and other stakeholders.
Proven ability to perform casual analysis for client market sector reporting requests.
Demonstrated experience participating in cost containment, control improvements and process efficiencies.
Ability to assume:
-Formal responsibility for the quality of the team's work products.
-Formal responsibility to assess and proactively suggest staffing changes so that the team has the capability, competence and time to perform the compliance and control function.
Demonstrated ability in anticipating a range of possible solutions and opportunities, using research, analysis and consultation to reach sound conclusions.

Proven ability in completing, with little or no guidance, ad hoc assignments or projects as assigned by management utilizing past experience and standard industry practice to make judgment calls.
