Job Description
The Assurance Support group is comprised of those functions in the Firm that support audit engagement teams and audit quality efforts.

It includes:

- National Professional Services
- ASM and T, inclusive of Chief Auditor Network, Learning and Development, Aura and ATP, Risk Management, SEC Services, and Accounting Services Group;
- Audit Transformation Program, including Aura and GADM;
- Inspections; and,
- Regulatory Relations and Quality Control.

Operating under centralized leadership, these groups work collaboratively to provide timely and consistent support to engagement teams on accounting and auditing matters, helping to enhance the Firm's ability to meet greater investor expectations with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment, and our objective of achieving sustained audit quality over the long term.

The National Professional Services Group (National) consists of five teams:

Auditing Services, Methods and Tools;
Risk Management;
SEC Services;
Accounting Services Group and

The National Professional Service Group's mission is to support the delivery of quality Assurance services to the market by collaborating with engagement teams and other firm resources to promote high-quality financial reporting and to inform and influence key stakeholders on important issues pertaining to the accounting profession.

The ASG mission includes:
- Positively and proactively engaging with standard setters and regulators on financial reporting, capital markets and professional matters;
- Producing brand enhancing Thought Leadership content packed with value add observations.

These objectives are achieved through the work of the Standard Setting and Thought Leadership groups.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues pertaining to regulatory matters, including the following areas:

- Developing effective thought leadership, policy and presentations that provide insight on the latest pronouncements, activities, and trends;

- Following regulatory rulemaking activities and assessing the impact of these rules on organizations and the market;

- Consulting with senior leaders and internal teams and/or stakeholders on communications that are of concern to clients, assessing the impact of such items from a business perspective, and sharing leading practices in an easily consumable;

- Coordinating communication

activities across the National Quality Organization practices, as well as gathering and analyzing activity and readership; and,

- Serving as a liaison for various business markets, (e.g. national, regional, etc.) to drive knowledge-sharing.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success developing strategy as well as writing, communicating, facilitating to all levels of industry audiences, clients, internal staff and management, emphasizing the following areas:

- Articulating technical concepts in writing to non-technical audiences;

- Developing thought leadership material;

- Monitoring, analyzing, and taking actions that drive performance improvements in order to maximize reader consumption and user experience;

- Identifying key trends and suggested content by keeping current with our internal and external stakeholders;

- Engaging with National Quality Organization leaders to understand business issues and the strategic direction; and,

- Providing guidance to partners and directors to establish written content is properly aligned with the practice-wide multi-media strategy.
