Job Description
PwC's Learning and Development function is a key enabler of the PwC Experience, an element of the Firm's overall strategy.

Integrating with the business, and implementing best-in-class teaching practices, this function supports and enables higher quality, and more relevant learning that is aligned with high performing teams.

The Learning Studio is responsible for the design, development and delivery of both formal and informal learning solutions and assets that create the development experience for PwC professionals. The studio combines specialty functions in live and digital learning, communities and collaborative learning, content curation, and learner experience to ensure partners and staff have access to the right learning at the right time and in the right place.

Members of the Learning Studio work collaboratively across multiple functions within Learning and Development

to translate our clients development needs into innovative and effective solutions across lines of services and through a variety of modalities.

The Learning and Development Communities team facilitates connections among our client services practitioners to help them work more efficiently, learn from one another, and solve important problems. As internal consultants, we partner with Client Services to build communities. We define community strategies, create and facilitate engaging programming, facilitate connections among communities and community members, and measure effectiveness of employee communities to provide the ideal conditions for our people to get the information and resources they need to help our clients succeed.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Graduate degree MBS or Masters of Education.


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in learning and development understanding and emphasizing the following areas:

- Social media platforms, including platforms typically used for internal employee communities;
- Performance management and employee engagement principles;
- Current trends in social learning and community management;
- Key subject matter specialists in community management; and,
- Highly matrixed client service organizations and how they operate and the employee experience of client-facing consultants.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success supporting or leading the building and managing of communities including the following areas:

- Planning and managing aspects of community management on an ongoing basis, including scope, schedule, quality and, in some cases, budget;
- Supporting the coordination activities of a variety of internal and external business partners, including Learning and Development teams, to build and sustain vibrant community;
- Providing input into defining vibrant programming to engage members, facilitate connections, build skills and influence behavior change;
- Assisting with the creation of a Community Strategy;
- Observing community activity to identify and assess trends, interdependencies, and member needs;
- Advocating on behalf of the community to sustain organizational visibility, obtain resources, and grow membership in alignment with community strategy;
- Providing input and support as needed to the planning and managing of strategic programming, designing activities and helping to curate content to achieve community goals and promoting member engagement;
- Creating and maintaining content structures, plans and schedules that promote a productive member experience;
- Assessing community health and maturity against modeled criteria and making recommendations on how to grow the community;
- Managing administrative tasks associated with community membership, including adding and removing members, and updating profile information; and,
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Communities' team leads.
