Job Description
The Assurance Innovation group is developing capabilities leveraging the latest in Open Source technologies to automate and accelerate our client engagements across the enterprise. We are focused on incorporating the latest in machine learning, Big Data, NoSQL, cutting edge development languages,

and advanced data processing techniques to include structured and unstructured information in a loosely coupled ecosystem delivering a technology platform that positions PwC for the future.

The Product Management team transforms the way PwC does business. The team helps develop cutting edge data analytic and automation applications using the latest technologies on both big and small but complex data sources. They help shape how the firm goes to market and enters new markets through the products we help define, develop and deliver. The team works on the cutting edge of technologies in an applied context to develop these systems.

The Product Management team builds systems which are immediately operational and which conform to agile methodologies. They strive for a deep understanding of the technologies involved and will work closely with engineers to ensure products built are best in class. They have a passion for problem solving, communication, organization, and ultimately a customer focus. In this hands-on position, they work to increase the speed and efficiency of our ability to bring products to market, by supporting the timely delivery, quality and transparency of data to support the companys business decisions.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree or 15 years of experience in Product Management within a large software firm.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in product management preferably within a large software firm within the private sector involving, the oversight of staff, initiatives and related activities, including the following areas:

- Articulating a go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, target customers for promoting software products internally and externally;

- Managing and coaching small multidisciplinary product teams and collaborating with designers, business users and developers to innovate and drive product development;

- Utilizing and applying into projects knowledge of the operations of Finance, Accounting, and or Assurance functions;

- Being an influential voice on behalf of the customer, our consultants and their clients, constantly thinking about their needs and the reflection of those needs in the products we deliver;

- Producing visual prototype and functional prototypes with agile approaches;

- Managing release planning, backlog and roadmap requirements creation; proven track record for deploying high quality products;

- Prioritizing new features/development and establishing execution is completed;

- Leading the oversight in conceptual, planning, analysis and implementation phases of projects; Maintaining project-tracking metrics, and providing the appropriate report out; managing the portfolio of project that support the Assurance Innovation organization; and,

- Supporting the budget and maintaining of program metrics to support compliance strategies, conducting related analytics and other initiatives, as needed.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the development of the business vision and strategies, including the following areas:

- Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, fostering a productive teamwork environment, leveraging diverse views to encourage innovation and helping develop and grow team members by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;

- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities;

- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers;

- Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning;

- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute;

- Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product;

- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets and status updates;

- Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data; and,

- Utilizing and applying into projects knowledge of applications and systems that support the following processes: product lifecycle management, ideation management, product planning and requirements gathering, Agile project management, code-development, quality management, test automation, integration and build automation, continuous integration and deployment, issue and problem management, application and infrastructure measurement and the monitoring, integration with business systems, information security, and cloud orchestration.
