Job Description
PricewaterhouseCoopers is nationally recognized for its in-depth technical knowledge and experience in taxation. Our National Operations Group features a multi-disciplined staff including: accountants, attorneys, economists and technologists from a variety of backgrounds, including former government officials (e.g., from the Treasury Department, the IRS and Congressional tax staffs), corporate tax directors, tax professionals from law firms, technology professionals and tax advisors from the Firm's practice offices. Team members serve as business advisors to clients by: monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory tax developments; assisting clients in developing strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments;

analyzing the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals; and addressing technology needs to support tax function effectiveness.
To support these efforts, the Tax Solution Center provides a centralized enabling infrastructure to aid in the identification, capture, delivery, enhancement, R&D marketing, hosting and support of repeatable Tax solutions/accelerators, solution components and services.

The Tax Solution Center works in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales and XLOS client service teams, while taking point on delivery and continuous enhancement of Tax solutions.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in a technology or business related field

Certification(s) Preferred: At least one of the following: CPA, EA, Admission to the Bar, Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt/Lean Black Belt/Master Black Belt, Certified Business Intelligence Professsional (CBIP), SAP Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Professional

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge maintaining the high level design plan for the overall logical and technical IT systems architecture, including the utilization of technology such as SharePoint, SQL and other data modeling tools. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of providing technical delivery and consulting across the organization in areas that aid in the identification, capture, delivery, enhancement, R&D marketing, hosting and support of repeatable Tax solutions/accelerators, solution components and services. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of strategic business plans, requirements and processes as they relate to IT systems architecture. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of planning, designing, testing, developing and evaluating end-to-end integrated systems and recommending action plans, including the development, documentation, communication, and enforcement of technology standards policies.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates thorough ability to evaluate technologies and methods for implementing architectural plans. Demonstrates thorough abilities with providing assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers and other Systems Architects, as well as document and develop in-depth knowledge of existing IT systems architecture and technology portfolios. Demonstrates through abilities with developing and documenting, as well as communicating and recommending, plans for investing in systems and/or business architectures, emphasizing analyses of cost reduction opportunities. Demonstrates thorough abilities to identify and address client needs, which includes the following: developing and sustaining deep client relationships, presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
