A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. Youll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwCs regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.Our Compliance team is responsible for oversight of all Compliance activities by our PwC professionals. As part of the team, youll help promote and monitor compliance with applicable external and internal policies, laws and regulations and subsequently, manage PwCs regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.


As a Senior Manager, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
  • Train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge and success in roles defining and leading comprehensive ongoing ethics- and compliance-related strategic education programs, preferably within a global professional services firm or comparable large enterprise within the private sector, which includes the following areas:
- Defining the approach for how education will be handled within the functional operations across a US professional services partnership, including tactical delivery requiring day-to-day oversight of the coordination and implementation of an Ethics and Compliance function's education programs;
- Engaging with resources within an organization's E&C-related function and designated leaders within its enterprise, client-facing business compliance groups;
- Collaborating closely with instructional and educational design, Learning & Development, and communications, marketing and sales operations, Marketing & Sales, resources on appropriate delivery of materials related to education deliverables and messaging;
- Understanding of current key client-related business issues and trends, aligning internal and external E&C-related education and communications around those issues;
- Measuring and tracking results of education and communications pieces, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis, on how education and communications contribute to trending compliance results; and,
- Contributing to opportunities to lead, improve upon current education and messaging processes, and helps the internal resources of the E&C organization further develop skills to support and meet changing business needs. Demonstrates intimate abilities and success in roles defining and championing the overarching, integrated education and messaging strategy of an E&C organization within a global professional services partnership business model, including the following areas: - Developing and sustaining extensive stakeholder relationships using networking, negotiation, influence and persuasion skills with senior leadership, i.e. C-Suite and one level down, to drive acceptance and support for a comprehensive and aligned strategic education and communications plan aligned with E&C's business objectives;
- Leading project requests and resource management across all E&C functions to provide for strategic alignment against staffing needs and overall E&C initiatives, emphasizing functions involving E&C-related communications and education;
- Overseeing the delivery of the Annual Training specific to the Ethics & Compliance component;
- Maintaining and managing the education portfolio, including new hire training as well as other on-boarding areas, and milestone trainings; and,
- Leading a needs assessment/analysis for organizational related education and training, including collaborating with internal or external vendor resources to meet the objectives determined from the needs analysis.
