Job Description
Network Information Security organization is tasked with designing, implementing and maintaining information security capabilities and services for the PwC Network of member firms. The organization consists of highly skilled information security professionals across the globe that are focused on developing a leading security program across the Network of Firms, to foster clients' trust in our ability to secure their most sensitive data, to better position PwC to address clients' evolving needs and to harmonize the internal firm security strategy with client services go-to-market strategy. The group is leading PwC's Network Security Transformation Programme, which is a multi-year programme to enhance existing capabilities and build new capabilities to combat the ever more complex cyber threats.

Information Security Risk and compliance provides a range of services to the PwC Network of Firms that identify, quantify, and reduce risks to the security of information.

These services include IT risk assessment processes, meeting client security interactions, management of IT security controls, information risk assessments, data privacy reviews, managing compliance assessments, supply chain risk management, security policy development and IT risk due diligence. The team will interact with data privacy and legal organizations.

The Information Security Risk & Compliance team is responsible for services including information security, policy and governance, risk management and compliance, metrics and reporting, and quality management.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 10


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Working with Security technology, related risk and compliance issues;

- Understanding of PwCs business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firms threat landscape;

- Managing complex relationships throughout major transformation;- Information risk and compliance principles;

- Utilizing and applying knowledge into projects of Privacy policies and laws, cross-border data protection laws, data retention policies and industry leading practices, document discovery and preservation, Information Technology Security, and Principles of Risk Management; and,

- Understanding software licensing, intellectual property protection,

internal audits and other audit-related activities for Network Information Security.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Framing threats and exposures in a business context recognized by non-technical staff and executives;

- Leveraging business communication skills to inform, persuade, and teach stakeholders across a global network of member firms staff and leadership to enable effective information security activities and processes in line with the cyber readiness program;

- Specializing in the hiring of quality personnel and motivation and retention of top performers;

- Providing appropriate developmental guidance for those staff who are not performing at expectations;

- Establishing the strategic direction for the function and leads teams to execute against the strategy;

- Managing efforts within business engagement and the relationship management space;

- Collaborating with global Risk and Compliance functions to maintain satisfaction with global Compliance offices;

- Collaborating with Network Information Security Compliance team leaders to implement common processes and tools;

- Benchmarking with outside networks and peer organizations; and,

- Managing a Network Information Security Compliance team.
