A career in our Analytics Technology practice, within Data and Analytics Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. We focus on a collection of organisational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance that help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organisations in order to keep up with the changing nature of customers and technology. Youll make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help our clients gain a competitive edge.Our team helps clients navigate various analytics applications to get the most value out of their technology investment and foster confidence in their business intelligence. As part of our team, youll help our clients implement enterprise content and data management applications that improve operational effectiveness and provide impactful data analytics and insights.


Responsibilities

As a Director, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
  • Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors
  • Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities
  • Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications
  • Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Responsibility for management of engagement financials
  • Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge and success of managing analytic and BI efforts in several of the following areas:
- Creating and applying analytic frameworks to solve difficult business problems and strengthen decision making capabilities at senior levels;
- Leading and directing analytic teams that have influenced business models and influenced strategic direction within the Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, Consumer and Industrial Products and Services, Manufacturing, or Telecom Industries;
- Identifying, obtaining and processing critical data (e.g. internal client data, external public data, and new sources of data) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership in the application of quantitative methodologies to improve decision-making in marketing, operations, and risk management.

Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge and success of functional knowledge of advanced analytic methods and visualization techniques, applying quantitative methodologies to complex business problems across multiple industry issues or functional domains.

Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success with leading and managing business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff.

Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success to develop strategy; as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management within applicable analytic domains.

Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success to engage with and support executives in a decision process that is strengthened by analytics, leading teams or stakeholders through the analytic process in a business-setting and translating analytic insight into business value and ongoing management capabilities.

Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
