Job Description
Our clients are focused on improving business performance, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations, and extracting value from transactions. Our growing Industrial Products and Services industry team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. This industry vertical team includes clients within the Industrial Products and Energy, Utilities & Mining sectors.

Our Risk & Regulatory consultants help clients understand and address their enterprise risk and regulatory profile. This high performing team advises clients on the overall management and performance of their business, with a focus in compliance management, business continuity, risk and governance, and treasury management.

The Commodities Trading and Risk (CTR) Management team brings hands-on experience in physical and financial commodity trading, operating assets, and managing operational, compliance, and market risks in the physical and related derivative markets.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma


Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and / or a proven record of success in leading or facilitating relevant project management or client consultations in the areas of energy / commodities trading & risk management, specifically assessing the effectiveness of a client's overall risk management program, including:
- Physical Commodities (Oil, Fuels, NGLs, Coal, Metals, Agriculture, Natural Gas, Power Wholesale & Retail, Freight, and other bulk commodities);
- Risk strategy and policies;
- Compliance requirements;
- Organizational and process design for Front, Middle, and Back Office operations;
- Energy / Commodities Trading & Risk Management systems (including, but not limited to, OpenLink Endur & RightAngle, TriplePoint, Allegro, eka, Sungard, Brady, Amphora, Ventyx); and,
- Effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate key model risks and offer process improvement. Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas
- Actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues; and,
- Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
- Implementing process improvement solutions and trading & risk management systems,
- Leveraging PC applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes;
- Utilizing business analysis in work projects, including functional and/or technical design; and,
- Writing and delivering results to prospective clients or team members.
