Job Description
The XLOS Sector team collaborates with the Sector Council and enablers to achieve sector business goals, primarily through working with the sector enabler network to help establish and execute the Sector strategy. XLOS Sector team members act as strategic advisors to the cross-Line of Service (XLOS) Sector Leaders and the entire Sector Councils, on Sector practice management issues, including strategy execution, practice operations and reporting, sales and pipeline management, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and client management.

The vision of Analytic Insights is to operate as the firm's analytic insight engine, leveraging integrated industry knowledge, data-enabled capabilities, analytic tools, and PwC-specific planning expertise to help leaders make more informed decisions and drive firm revenue growth. This is done through three primary domains: provocative points of view, decision support, and analytic tools.
Analytic Insights will operate with agility to deliver the full-breadth of our skillset to help differentiate PwC in the market and bring analytic rigor to solving the firm's most complex problems. Priorities will be governed by formalized stakeholder relationships, ensuring our efforts are fully aligned with strategic priorities and synced with the business.
The Analytic Insight organization consists of three aligned and collaborative competency teams which leverage embedded technology solutions and offshore resources to effectively and efficiently deliver our value proposition.
Sector Analysis is comprised of sector-aligned analysts with deep industry knowledge leveraging data and analytics to help sector leaders make more-informed business planning decisions, support development of

"market making" points of view from a PwC perspective, and increase PwC competitiveness on key client accounts.
Business Planning consists of quantitative and qualitative strategic decision-support analyses, tools and solutions aligned to the USLT and PwC Network agenda. This capability focuses on enhancing decision-making through disciplined analytical approaches and PwC-relevant framing and interpretation of the macro environment.
Analytics consists of technical analysts who utilize scientific approaches to extract insights from data and develop predictive models to increase confidence in business planning and investment decisions, establish heuristics for leadership, develop practice and client-level tactical targeting tools, end-to-end solution development, and facilitate the efficient exploration and interpolation of large quantities of data through visualization.

Sector analysts use their deep industry knowledge leveraging data and analytics
- complemented with self-service data solutions
- to help sector leaders make more -informed business planning decisions, support development of market making points of view from a PwC perspective, and increase PwC competitiveness on key client accounts. This team will focus on the Banking and Capital Markets sector.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Delivering relevant and value-adding industry research, analyzing and developing thought leadership to support both client service and Internal Firm Services (IFS) partners and staff, as well as to external clients;

- Managing the development of client deliverables; as an analytics team leader and/or project manager;

- Participating in relevant client engagements, recognized as a subject matter specialist, as well as managing a team of analysts in delivering knowledge based deliverables;

- Developing and presenting market making differentiated points of view;

- Creating and contextualizing analytic modeling and monitoring of key sector drivers;

- Generating forward-looking, client-centric analysis to drive strategic conversations and specific growth opportunities targeted to the client service team's needs;

- Managing daily activities around client support, risk mitigation on a product, deliverable and project basis, and the quality of delivered products by adhering to the unit's quality review protocol;

- Interacting with clients and practice groups to develop new products and solutions; and,

- Building a personal knowledge base through proactive industry research and analysis activities and efforts to build product deliverables either individually or with client service teams.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Using business software, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, analytic tools like Tableau, and basic financial analysis packages;

- Leveraging comprehensive analytics methodologies and tools, especially as it applies within a professional services environment;

- Establishing personal networks relevant to the industry;

- Exhibiting team commitment and the willingness to support the team in the attainment organizational goals;

- Interacting with all levels of staff and leadership; and,

- Guiding and developing others in the group and across the Analytic Insights organization and the Firm who are new to the industry or subject matter.


***This position is flexible, but preference is for candidate to be located in NY Metro or surrounding areas.
