Job Description
Our Strategy consultants help clients optimize their business.

This high performing team helps with strategy growth and development, strategy transformation, analytics and strategic decision making, M&A strategy, and commercial and market due diligence.

In the Analytic Apps group our goal is to use those trends and changes to build offerings that help make our consultants look brilliant in front of clients. We integrate data, proprietary analytic algorithms and visualizations, with the consultants deep industry knowledge and experience to answer complex business problems that challenge our clients in several industries. The Apps group is building a customer centric/data driven product development organization. The Production Support team defines, implements, and operationalizes production support for all business platforms and analytic apps across multiple disciplines. This team plays a prominent role in our product delivery lifecycle and is critical to our groups ability to meet client needs and scale our offerings. The Production Support team must understand the customers needs, understand and manage the support requirements, coordinate the escalation of issues to the appropriate operations and development teams, and communicate the milestones, progress, challenges and risks to everyone involved.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 7 years of information technology experience focused on software product development and support with at least 5 years of experience managing people

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Management or similar quantitative discipline

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success with product support management and executing various software product development and support initiatives within a product development organization or a professional services organization, including the following areas:

- Existing and emerging technologies in application development, analytics and data management;

- Current agile methodologies; specifically Scrum and use of agile project management tools for software product development and product support;

- Java and J2EE, Java based frameworks, Spring, Groovy, Maven, Gradle, SOAP and web services, REST APIs & open source software.
Web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap framework, AngularJS, Yeoman, D3.js, Nodejs, jQuery;

- Data architecture, data modelling and data management using tools like Talend, Pentaho Data Integration,Hadoop distributions like Cloudera/Hortonworks and other databases technologies like SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Vertica;

- Cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud; and,

- Level 2 or 3 support requirements or be familiar with support ticketing systems.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Leading and motivating distributed teams;

- Fostering team commitment to tasks and influencing key people Inside and outside of the group;

- Flexing communication approach based on the audience (i.e., eliminating technical jargon when needed or deep diving into technical details with the development team); and,

- Collaborating with cross-functional team, building relationships, and

achieving results without a direct reporting relationship.
